Many thanks for all of your hard work in organizing the disposition of the things in my aunt’s house following her move into an assisted living facility. The comedian George Carlin had a routine based on the idea that everyone needs a place for their stuff. After over sixty years in the same house, my aunt had accumulated an incredible amount of stuff, some dating back years before she and my uncle moved into the house. You did an excellent job of helping her sort through the things that she will need in the assisted living facility, the things worth saving either for records or sentimental reasons, and the things that could be disposed of in one way or another. In that routine about a place for your stuff, George Carlin noted that when you get married, your stuff is stuff, and the other person’s stuff is junk. You dealt very well with that kind of disagreement between aunt and nephew. You were great at balancing her desire to have her things donated to someone who could use them or sold against my desire to get everything out of the house as soon as possible so it could be sold.
There’s no way the family could have handled this without you. I don’t live in the area, and even if I did, I wouldn’t have had the time or the patience to wade through everything my aunt had in the house and figure out what to do with it. You were great at taking the time to carefully review her things and sort out the things to be saved, donated, or thrown out. Your network of contacts with agencies that would take donations of furniture, old books, clothes, etc., and people who might be interested in buying some of my aunt’s things was extraordinarily helpful.
Thanks again for everything!

Ali was amazing, she helped us move at a time when we had a newborn and needed a lot of help! She packed everything as if it were her own! She was resourceful and I will never forget her motto “pack your stuff with your stuff” this means to use towels and sheets instead of pricey paper and bubble wrap when possible :). She was so much fun to work with along the way, happy to say I made a friend as well. If you want someone who knows the ins and outs of packing, a true expert, is trustworthy and fun, work with Ali on your next move!!”

I had the spontaneous pleasure of meeting Ali in the pouring rain outside of Trader Joes in the parking lot as I struggled to navigate all of my bags holding the umbrella. I had made a connection inside while shopping then realized she was offering to help me to my car. We immediately started a conversation and I learned her passion for organizing, packing and assisting people with their household decisions to down size. Well, there are no coincidences. That talent and enthusiasm was just what I was looking for.
Soon after that initial first meeting in the downpour, I contacted Ali to manage and orchestrate my basement organization, including the emotional aspect of downsizing sentimental items for the give away pile, as well as packing items securely for a future move. There were years of memorabilia, painting supplies and breakable valuables from past generations.
At the end of the project, everything was organized well, handled with care during the process and done at a noteworthy pacing.
I felt rescued. It would have taken me triple the time for the same result, given the emotional component of the project. I was completely comfortable leaving Ali on her own to complete the project with minimal direction. I had peace of mind with its process and completion.
For these reasons, I recommend her services in the area of packing for a move, organizing any space, taking photo inventory of your space or belongings and offering emotional support during the arduous process of these tasks. Her services are quite valuable, indeed. It will be your pleasure to pay her for the job well done. The talent it takes to efficiently do these types of projects goes beyond the time it takes to just do the physical bottom line of the job. You are paying for being rescued, having witness in the process and adding her to your referral list of trusted enthusiastic helpers who make a difference!
It is difficult to part with sentimental items. I took a photo of this plate & made these designs to share with Bernalee. There are always ways to hold on to things while letting go of them at the same time.

I highly recommend Ali Brief as an Professional Organizer and Moving Specialist to assist with all your needs. My husband and I have known Ali for over 7 years. We met her when she was a Certified Moving Consultant and did our moving estimate, then set up our move with the moving company.
We hired Ali to do what the moving company did not do. She came to help organize, downsize, pack, do photo inventories of high-end ceramic collections and other sentimental, valuable, and very fragile items. After the move, Ali unpacked, organized, and set up our new home. This process took a few months and Ali always showed up on time, worked extremely hard and was also very efficient.
She did an incredible job and labeled everything to make it easier for us to find things. Ali has worked with me since 2013, switching out my seasonal clothing, helping with our antique & jewelry business reorganizing our cases, and with helping to solve our computer problems.
She also, photographed merchandise we wanted to sell, labeled, and packed the items and put them on the computer to help catalogue for high-end auction houses.
Ali is trustworthy and cares about what she does. She helped reduce the stress of a move after being in a home for 50 years. I highly recommend Ali from start to finish on your move or just to help organize your home, office, or retail space.

Hi Ali, I would like to thank you once again for all you have done to organize my mother’s home. Your patience, creativity and empathy in creating a cleaner more livable space for my mom Isaura Fabregas is the service/professionalism you don’t get with any company or anyone. I also have learned so much about how to use your own boxes and things that you may have otherwise thought to throw away in order to pack valuable items than can be broken in a move. Your organization skills are unsurpassed and ideas are so creative. Clearly, you place your customers’ feelings, and attachment to there own personal property ahead of your own work load in order to seek great customer satisfaction. You have helped our family in ways I can only share to all my friends and customers. If ever anyone I know needs help prior to a move, organize declutter home collections, or even to unpack and organize after a move I will always recommend Ali Brief Organizing LLC. You truly have made my moms home a new Zen!! Have a happy New Year and A million thanks as my mom put it!

I wanted to thank you for helping me get the ball rolling on a task that I was completely paralyzed about. You helped get me past that complete inertia, which was likely due to the anxiety I was feeling about the process of going through my Mom’s things after she passed away. I was going to call the doctor for anti-anxiety medicine but decided to call you first; you were better than Zoloft after only two hours. Your empathetic and practical approach were just what the doctor ordered. Thank you again.

Ali, you truly are the organization queen. I was overwhelmed with the task of packing up all my breakables. It was a lot, but you came in and brought your Zen. Your positive and calming vibe was so needed. You made short work of all of the dishes, serving pieces, vases and such. We just finished unpacking everything and not one thing was broken! We were again amazed by your packing expertise. I have recommended you to several friends as they expressed needing help with their “someday” moves.
